Bike Safety Message Survey

The Iowa Bicycle Coalition has placed a safety message survey on it's website. We are trying to collect what bicyclists think are the top three safety messages for cyclists. Use the comment box to make suggestions. Take a moment to help us our by visiting http://www.iowabicyclecoalition.org/survey.htm

In other news, flooding still rages across Iowa. Iowans are encouraged to use bikes for transportation to help with congestion. I've never seen more bicycling in Iowa City as I did this weekend. Thanks for getting out on your bikes.

As many know, our office is underwater. We expect 2' today on top of 2' we had yesterday.

Water is not stopping us! We are happy to announce a Road 1 class on June 25 from 10 AM to 4 PM at the Coralville Public Library. Cost is $30 per student, manual included. If you want to become a League Cycling Instructor, you need to take Road 1. Our next instructor course is August 8-10. More information is available at www.iowabicyclecoalition.org/safety.htm
